Who is responsible
This site is run by RA Standard - F.Z.E, a free zone establishment licensed by the Free Zones Authority of Ajman under licence number 57033. welx.lol is its trading name. The registered address and the rest of the details are in the table at the end of this page.
For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to kikowelx@gmail.com. A person reads that address; there is no ticket system in between.
Cookies
None. The site sets no cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your browser stores two things locally: whether you chose the light or the dark theme, and whether you closed the chat bubble on the home page. Both stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Third parties
The page loads no external scripts, fonts, trackers, maps or embeds. Fonts and images are served from this domain, and the visit counter is ours and runs on our own server.
The only outbound links are to our own social profiles and to WhatsApp and Telegram, and they only load when you click them. From that point you are on their service and their terms apply, not ours.
What the web server records
Every request to any website reaches a web server, and ours keeps a log. It records the time, the page, the status code, the address you came from if there was one, and the browser's user agent string.
The visitor's IP address is shortened before it is written: the last part of an IPv4 address and everything below the first four blocks of an IPv6 address are replaced with zeroes. That is enough to tell a search engine's robot from a person and to see a burst of requests, and not enough to identify anyone. Headers that are only useful for advertising profiles are not written at all.
The log is kept for thirty days and then overwritten. We read it to check that search engines can reach the site and to find faults.
Counting visits
We count page views on our own server. Each view records the page address, the site you came from if there was one, your window width and whether you had the light or the dark theme on.
There is no cookie, no identifier and no IP address in that record. We cannot tell one visitor from another or follow you between visits, which is why there is nothing here to opt out of.
The contact form and the chat bubble
If you send us a message through the form, we receive your name, your email address and what you wrote. It reaches us by email. If our server cannot take the message, your browser opens your own mail application with the text ready to send, and nothing passes through us at all.
The chat bubble on the home page is a form, not a robot. What you type there is put into a WhatsApp message and nothing is sent until you press the button. Once you do, the conversation is in WhatsApp and Meta's terms apply to it.
We use what you send to answer you and to quote the work, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share it outside the team working on your enquiry.
Where it is kept
The site and its server logs run on a rented virtual server in Saint Petersburg, Russia, operated by Beget LLC on our instruction. Our email is with Google. Both are outside the United Arab Emirates, so using this site or writing to us means your data is handled abroad.
We tell you this because you cannot judge it if we do not. If it matters to your organisation, say so before you send us anything and we will agree where your project's data lives.
How long we keep it
Server logs: thirty days. Enquiries that do not turn into work: twelve months, then deleted. Project correspondence: for as long as the contract and the accounting rules require, and no longer.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, for it to be corrected, for it to be deleted, for us to stop using it, or for it in a form you can take elsewhere. You can object to us using it, and where you gave permission you can take that permission back.
Write to kikowelx@gmail.com and say which of those you want. We answer within a working week and we do not charge for it. We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
We handle personal data under the law of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you are writing from the European Union or the United Kingdom, we will handle your request to the same standard rather than argue about which law applies.
If you are unhappy
Write to us first. If that does not settle it, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, and visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom may also complain to their national supervisory authority.
Using this site
The text, code, illustrations and the Kiko character on this site belong to us. You may read, quote and link to any of it with attribution. Republishing a page in full, or using the artwork elsewhere, needs our written permission.
The pages describe what we do and are not an offer or a price list. Nothing here creates a contract: work starts from a written scope and a signed agreement, and that agreement governs the work, not this page.
We keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors or always available. Where we link to someone else's site, we are not responsible for what is on it.
Which law applies
This page and the use of this site are governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be settled between us go to the competent courts of the Emirate of Ajman, where the company is licensed.
A signed project agreement may name a different law or forum. Where it does, the agreement wins for that project.
Changes to this page
We change this page when what we do changes, and we move the date at the top when we do. There is no archive of earlier versions; if you need one for your records, save a copy.

welx.lol is the trading name of RA Standard - F.Z.E, a free zone establishment licensed by the Free Zones Authority of Ajman under licence number 57033. The studio works out of Dubai; the licence is issued in Ajman, and we say so rather than rounding it to Dubai.
